Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is the headquarters for the Best Friends Animal Society, a non-profit organization that is committed to helping homeless pets. The sanctuary is located in Kanab, UT and is the largest no-kill animal sanctuary in the nation. 

Every chance we get, my wife and I take the short drive from Cedar City to Kanab and volunteer to help take care of the animals. Usually, we focus our attention and time towards the cats at the Benion and Quincy houses, a section of the sanctuary for cats with special needs (Disabled, incontinent, FIV positive, etc.). We take them for walks, clean their spaces, and socialize with them. We also spend our time working with the horses and pigs in the sanctuary. We absolutely love the sanctuary and all the animals that live there.
